Plant-based London Fog Ice Cream: A Healthy Ninja Creami Recipe
In case you don’t know what a London Fog is, it’s Earl Grey tea with vanilla and steamed non-dairy milk. I love starting my morning off with a hot one in the winter and an iced one in the summer. Now I’ll eat my morning drink instead!
2teaspoonsloose leaf Early Grey tea- regular or decaf, or 6 teabags (updated from 3 teabags)
2tablespoonscashew butterOR 2 tablespoons JOI oat milk powder, or 1/2 cup oats (you can strain or not)
3dates OR liquid sweetener of choice to taste like maple syrup, date syrup, or simple syrup, etc.
1teaspoonvanilla extract OR 1/2 teaspoon vanilla powder
Instructions
Steep the tea in the hot water for 5 minutes, then strain into a blender. Let cool and blend everything together.
Note: If you use whole rolled oats you can strain your mixture or not.
Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint, mix in the vanilla and add water or non-dairy milk to reach the max fill line. Taste and adjust sweetener if needed.
Freeze for 24 hours. Spin on the ice cream setting.
If it’s still powdery use the respin button.

Notes
Make this a lavender fog by adding a teaspoon of culinary lavender with the tea when steeping.
