Homemade Pecan Milk: Nut Milk Recipe for a Blender or Milk Maker
I love the fact that I can use so many different ingredients in my memade vegan milks. It doesn't hurt that it's cheaper to make at home either! While I made the batch picture in my Miomat milk maker, it works just as good in the blender you have. No need for a high-speed blender or soaking when you use pecans!Plus you get that warm nutty flavor with no straining needed.
Add all the ingredients to your blender or milk maker.
Blend until smooth.
I don't strain mine, but you can use a fine mesh strainer if you like.
Store in the fridge for 3 - 5 days.
Shake well before using!
Notes
If using a small milk maker like the Arcmira or Nutr use 2 - 3 tablespoons of nuts and water to the max line.In a larger one like the Almond Cow or Miomat you can use up to a cup of pecans. Adjust the amount up until the milk is thick and rich enough for you!
