looking to try -wondering if there is a substitute for rice flour – perhaps tigernut? Cassava? Arrowroot?

In reply to Lauri Kane. Thanks for the heads up, Lauri Kane. I zapped the blueberries and cut-up apples in the microwave for 2 minutes before adding the topping and baking in the air fryer. It worked perfectly.

Meh, The crust kinda burned and the apples dried out instead of releasing juice. Perhaps a recipe better left for a moister cooking environment…
