Honestly, I would formulate a different recipe altogether if they can’t have mushrooms. You could start with this recipe and leave out the mushroom, but you will need to add something else to give that earthy flavor.

Honestly, I use it to taste and adjust depending on the other ingredients. But I start with 1 tablespoon, taste and add more as needed.

Or to marinate green jackfruit? Would I follow the recipe and add 2Tbs / 1 Cup water for a marinade or is that too weak?
